outdoor spaces

The EUC Reservations office manages reservations for many outdoor campus spaces. Contact the University Reservations Office about using one of these locations.

This park in front of the Foust building is ideal for small group gatherings. There is no electrical access on this site.

This reservable lawn is on the College Avenue  entrance side of the library.  This is ideal space for events and activities that are designed for high traffic areas.  It sits next to the College Ave. Lawn and is used for events such as Fall Kick-Off, Puppy-Sits, Information Tables, and the Clothesline Project.

Kaplan Commons, also referred to as the EUC “West Lawn” is an ideal location for most outdoor activities. It is reservable for organized group activities including bands, movies, etc. from 5:00 pm on Fridays until 5:00 pm on Sundays.  For events that require electricity, a power wagon will be required. The University Reservations staff can help facilitate this request.  An additional fee for use of a power wagon will be incurred.

This area is reservable on a daily basis and is located on the West lawn between the sidewalk leading to the Bryan Building and Stirling Street.

An amphitheater-style area, this space is great for small outdoor activities such as information sessions, small acoustic bands, and presentations.

For information on using this space, contact the Department of Housing and Residence Life.

This is the “front lawn” of the Stone Building on College Avenue.  As the Stone Building is used for classes, events planned for this area should be mindful of the noise level.

*Amplified Sound is not allowed in Taylor Garden.
