The Brown Building Theatre –beautifully renovated and reopened in January 2008– seats up to 150 people in an intimate and flexible performance space. The Brown Building Theatre is also the “home” of UNCG Theatre Student Workshops every Monday at 4 pm (students gather to participate and view student produced short scenes and one acts). This space was formerly known as the Hart Recital Hall, and it is located on the first floor of the Brown Building, 402 Tate Street. The Brown Building Theatre is handicapped accessible.
